Amigurumi beagle
I was asked by my youngest daughter how long will take to make a beagle. I asked her why? In the meantime I found this pattern and started it in case she wanted it. When I was done with it, I showed her the dog and she liked it. She wanted to use it for a birthday cake but I am not sure if she ended up using it. She gave it to her sister in law. It is a free pattern and I 'm glad I got to finish the dark brown wool. I also ran out of brown that is why his ears are have white and half brown but for a dog it doesn't really matter. I am happy when I finish my old yarn don't know if you feel the same. I have a full box of left over mixed colours yarn which I wish to use so I am not left with so many little bits everywhere. This dog could be used as a charm bag. Good luck if you get to make it.

Crochet Beanie slouch
I always like to try new stuff. I get bored doing the same things, this way I keep myself interested in this craft. How the beanie came about is my older grandson tried his father's beanie and I wanted to make him one. I actually made him two because I didn't have his brother's head circumference and I made the other one big enough to fit him too. One is brown and the other one blue and brown. just had enough wool. I got the free pattern from pinterest.com. I had to increase more as my wool was 8 ply. I'm so happy, I am using a lot of yarn. I need to buy new colours. Who knows what I will be doing next I know my daughter wants me to make her something so you might come here and check to see what it is. Till next time

My lion
About two weeks ago my youngest daughter came to me and asked me if I make her a lion to give out as a present. Well I looked on pinterest and amigurumi free patterns to see if I like any. I finally decided on this one. I changed how she did the strings on the legs. The rest, I followed the whole pattern as hers. Since it is for a baby, I think the colours are too dark and it is very big for a baby to hold so I will make her another one and I will do it from Amigurumi to go. I like it standing instead of sitting and easier to hold. The maine does take a long time. It is not hard to do if you are familiar with making amigurumi. I bet my grandson would love it. I also included the lady's lion too. The third photo belongs to the lady I used the pattern from. Good luck in making one.

An Amigurumi drawing
Two Christmas ago one of my daughters' gave me this furry yarn and more normal plain brown yarn since they knew I love crocheting. I didn't know what to do or how to crochet with it, I tried it and I kind of gave up using the furry wool. I asked my daughter to challenge me in a drawing of hers. She sketched this monster with one eye big and the other one small. It has two white teeth and a large mouth which I need to trim some fur if I have to put in the mouth in other wise it won't show. I still haven't done that yet. It also have large floppy ears. She shaped around the face, the problem is with that fur it didn't show the curvy in the face. She also left it without legs because she said she liked it like that. Anyway I will show you her drawing and my crochet monster.

Crochet baby blanket
Hi guys, I had a grandson on the way so I decided to make him a blanket not that he needed one but to make him something new since I made another one for my other grandson. I weaved it but my daughter wanted it in stripes instead of the tartan look which I love. The choice of colours could have been better but I wanted to use what I had. I put an edging to look finished in blue. there are many videos for tartan pattern that is how I made this blanket. The stripes on the photos looks uneven but they are even. It takes awhile to make as it is a bit fiddly but it is very satisfying to see it ready.

Russian designer doll
I have been wanted to make one of this Russian designer lady. The problem was her patterns are written in Russian language. After asking and commenting many times if I could get her pattern in English to no success, I decided to buy her pattern anyway. It looked like Greek writing to me, I tried google translation each paragraph and voila there was something written in English. I decided to give it a go. I got a bit of problem along the way but I did what I thought was right. They must have lots of variations that means the same sometimes. I still wish the patterns were in English. I did brown hair instead of purple because I didn't have the colour yarn then and I wanted to start on it, it is like me being impatient to start on it. I enjoyed making it. It is a fairly large doll. I added straps to her shoes because it wouldn't stay on. I also added Velcro on the jacket instead of buttons. I would prefer buttons next time it is neater. The rest is like the pattern. A young girl would be very happy with a doll like this one.

Favourite blanket so far
I made this blanket inspired by my sister. Her son got a blanket made like this one that I have made but with three colours only. She told me I bet you can do that if you see the photo of it, so she showed me her photos of the blanket. I had an idea how it was made but I wanted to MAKE SURE how it was made so I researched tartan blankets and sure enough it was how I thought it would be.There are videos of crochet tartan blankets. I looked at most of the tartan patterns and I tried to make it with my favourite colours. Here is my not done but almost done photos but you can see how it is. Give it a try it is such an accomplishment when you see it ready. I am going to give it to my youngest daughter. The first photo is how it looks at first when you are working on it and the second one is how it looks when it is finished.I think you all agree it looks amazing. Finally finished.

Hat
I made this hat and I had to change everything about the pattern. The pattern was too small with one yarn so I did use two yarns. I still had to change the googles pattern it was way too small. I stitched the white line by hand. I had trouble doing it with the hook. The back is not that wonky let's hope it looks good on it is certainly warm hat for winter. I think I will add straps so he can tie it to his chin.

Thombliboo
From what I gather this toy is one of the Tombliboos. I had a hard time doing the head on this one. I had lots of spheres made up and I picked one that was in skin colour. It happened to be big but I used it anyway since my grandson is only one year old and he will not know the difference. When I put them next to each other I see many mistakes. I did crocheted the eyes as it is safer for a young child.

Large owl
This owl kit was given to me for Christmas. It is fairly large. It is very easy to do. I changed the eyes and the beak and my daughter said it was cuter as the picture so there you go. I don't get the cuteness in toys. In painting the more that looks real the more I think they did a fantastic job. I also like the amigurumi toys to look more real. I did some that do not. Some I like the look others I think I'm able to make. Here is the picture of the owl
