I saw this crochet coat and I liked it so much that I had to make it. I like the ears on the hood and the bow at the back. I had to follow a video and I wanted to use her colours yarns too but here we haven't got a big selection. It is not hard to make and since I have grandsons only it will be on etsy. I would like to make one in a single crochet but it might take forever to make. I still haven't found the correct buttons for it. I like to make them in dusty pink or purple pink. I am still looking for the correct buttons My last resolution is white. I love the ears on the hood. Here is the girl's coat.

Sock monkey from Amigurumi to go
Sock monkey from the free pattern from Amigurumi to go. I wanted to make this monkey for so long. I don't know why it took so long for me to make one. Sharon's monkeys are so cute and the patterns are easy to follow. It is not very big, that apple is medium size. It is good for a baby to handle but you need to put embroidery eyes so it is more safe. I am always searching for free patterns with challenges. I haven't got bored yet making amigurumi toys. I am a little busier these days and I can't make as much as I used to do. Anyway till next time stay safe and take care whoever reads this blog.

Kitty cat

I wanted to make this cat again. I made one like this in brown and had closed eyes. This one has bendable legs and longer too. I put a rattle inside since my youngest daughter wants it. Those paintings my middle daughter did them, how good is she! Not even if I try hard I wouldn't be able to paint them. You know when they were very young, I used to draw things for them and they had to guess what it was. They ate this way with out problems. They say whatever you introduce to kids before three of age they will grow up doing it. Well I don't know if that's true but all my kids are artists in their own way. My eldest daughter painted all her paintings to decorate her house. I would say she was the least interested and she did the most paintings. My eldest daughter has a professional job. The other two are graphic designers. The put their work on Red bubble and one of their item was in gallery here in Melbourne.

MY Oopsie doll
My oopsie doll I enjoyed making this doll very much. I loved making the curls it took a whole ball of yarn for it. I enjoyed making the skirt of the dress. The pattern was very easy to follow. It took me three days working strictly all afternoons. I am having trouble making the bow, would you believe it? I tried three times already. Haven't given up yet. I can always contact Vanja from Amigurumi BB, the generous lady, who made the pattern and share it. Isn't she wonderful. How I came to make this doll is I was looking to see how a type of her is done. I liked the hairdo of this doll and decided to do it. I love this doll her boots looks very nice. Here is a picture of my lovely Oopsie doll. I had trouble making her bow but managed after three attempts or four. You can never give up I guess on things.

Worm
I made this worm not sure if I made this from this pattern or my own. It has been sitting there for a while. I made lots of different sizes of spheres and I wanted to use them up. The idea of the finished toy is definitely from Lilleliis's pattern. I have been thinking to finish it like the glow worm. I bought the pattern from Lilleliis. I made a bug with wings which I posted already. I added a flower to it because I wanted it to look slightly different. Easy to make as well. I had the eyes done from previous toy and I wanted to use them. I am trying not to leave things undone. I have a large box full of wool and I would like to buy new wool so I would like to get rid of this old wool first. I think any crafty person would end up with so much stuff in the process. She will buy stuff that she thinks she will use and leave it there. OH here is the worm guys.

Thombliboo
From what I gather this toy is one of the Tombliboos. I had a hard time doing the head on this one. I had lots of spheres made up and I picked one that was in skin colour. It happened to be big but I used it anyway since my grandson is only one year old and he will not know the difference. When I put them next to each other I see many mistakes. I did crocheted the eyes as it is safer for a young child.

She reckons I made a very big snout NOT LIKELY TO MAKE ANOTHER ONE. I don't like to make the same toy. I am more interested how well it turns out. I like the challenge once lol.

beautiful bug
I love this pattern of this bug. It was easy but I had a little problem with the wings. I am going to make another one different colors. I bought the pattern. I wish I can make my own but I was always good in copying then creating, who know maybe one day I come up with something good. I knew that the wings were done this way but following someone else could be confusing at times. You too should try one of these bugs. They are so cute.

Miku the doll
I haven't posted anything for awhile. I have been doing amigurumi but this doll took me awhile to finish it. This was a challenge to make as the pattern was not explained properly sometimes I found it hard to understand at times but because I have some knowledge of some dolls I could make it. I am happy with the result. There was photos of the hair but I actually learn more from a video. Anyway here is my miku doll

Shaggy gorilla
I made this orangutan from the book Edward's Menagerie. My youngest daughter gave it to me for Christmas. She also wanted me to make this for her. I will make another one with a plain color wool. It was challenging as you had to concentrate about what you are doing all the time but I managed. It said it was level three. You should give it a try if you like it like me.

Crochet Blanket
I made this blanket last year, for one of my daughters because she wanted one. It took me about four months to finish. I used to work on it while watching TV. She picked the colours herself. I think she did a wonderful job in choosing to yarn colours. It was my biggest project so far. It wasn't difficult to make and I'm happy with the results.
