Another item the frog

How this came about is I was looking for small toys to make that doesn't need much work. They all take so much time to make each toy. I decided to sell some at a market but I am about to be put off. Why? it is because you need a certificate for public liability and cost about $100 for three months. I don't know if I sell anything there. last year I went and there weren't much people as far as I know. Well I saw this frog that comes with a free pattern and I thought it is cute. I changed very little in this pattern. The lady did awesome job designing it and her explanation is great. I like her idea for webbed feet that idea I didn't use it before. Also I liked how she used her wiring. I have bee crocheting toys close to two years or more and am still learning. I thought this would be a faze and I will stop after a few months but I am still doing new stuff and always feel pleased with the results. This week I saw all the toys that I made and are at home, gee! I have so many. I gave many to my grandson what ever he liked to have. I haven't got many multiples because I don't like repeating the pattern much except after some months. Ok here are the pictures of my frog I think you agree it is cute.

 

Miku the doll

I haven't posted anything for  awhile. I have been doing amigurumi but this doll took me awhile to finish it. This was a challenge to make as the pattern was not explained properly sometimes I found it hard to understand at times but because I have some knowledge of some dolls I could make it. I am happy with the result. There was photos of the hair but I actually learn more from a video. Anyway here is my miku doll

Koala

Hi there,
How are you all, who is reading this? I will tell you what I witness yesterday, it was raining, so it was expected, I guess, what I'm about to tell you. I heard a car breaking really hard and I looked to see a car stopping hard because she couldn't make the lights, and she reversed her car a little. Another car holden almost new, stopped behind this wagon car. At this point the green light came and I was looking the other way when I heard a hard smash of a car, so I looked in that direction to see it was the same lady who forgot to change her reverse gear to go forward, poor lady it wasn't her day. The other couple got out to check the damage in their car.  I didn't see any damage, but she had, she dented her car so they exchanged the numbers and whatever necessary. I felt sorry for the lady, now she has to go home and tell her husband and I thought what if he was an angry man.  It was her fault even though they say whoever hit you from the back is at fault. i thought I share that with you guys. I hope I didn't bore you too much.



I am challenging myself in making a koala. I am writing the pattern as I go. I hope it turn out at least ok. Anyone is doing a new thing? I will post a picture of it once I finish it. I finished the koala and I didn't write all the pattern. I was unpicking and it was challenging the way I imagine it to be anyway here is the picture of my koala.
