Handmade Crochet Girl's sweater

I just love making these sweaters. They are so easy and they look so cute. I made these with 5 ply acrylic yarn. Easy free pattern from bernat and there is a you tube video instruction. I also love the combinations I used. The trouble with these are you need to be careful with the sleeves as to not loose stitches. I need to figure a way to also make the joining part straight somehow it comes slanting. I embroidered the eyes because buttons are choking hazards. I also put buttons at the back cause I saw the neck circumference small. I was saying about hazards but hopefully at the back is quite safe. still it is a nice project to make.

Sock monkey from Amigurumi to go

Sock monkey from the free pattern from Amigurumi to go. I wanted to make this monkey for so long. I don't know why it took so long for me to make one. Sharon's monkeys are so cute and the patterns are easy to follow. It is not very big, that apple is medium size. It is good for a baby to handle but you need to put embroidery eyes so it is more safe. I am always searching for free patterns with challenges. I haven't got bored yet making amigurumi toys. I am a little busier these days and I can't make as much as I used to do. Anyway till next time stay safe and take care whoever reads this blog.

Amigurumi to go Elephants

Aren't these elephants as cute as? The large elephant is one of the first ones, I made. I was so happy with the result.Then my youngest daughter saw it and wanted me to make her one. I made a smaller one for her. Actually it is the same pattern the larger one is done with two yarns and the smaller one with one yarn. I found this pattern from Sharon Ojala. She has lots of free patterns and cute ones too. I need to make the sock monkey I did the other monkey that she has as well. She has the videos to follow with her patterns it is great for beginners. I keep trying to challenge myself into making more difficult ones. So why don't you give it a go it is fun and rewarding seeing the toy that you just made.

All the different sizes in spheres

I made all the different sizes of spheres from this pattern. It is very easy to do and they are quick to do too. now I just have to invent to use them all in different toys. Give it a try it is fun to make them all. Here is a picture of them all.

My buzzbee

Hi guys, I just finished making this buzzbee for my grandson. He had a smile when he saw it. He is nearly one and he can recognize it. I had no pattern for it. I tried to copy a picture. It is the best I could do for now I guess.I'm always learning and improving. They say practice makes perfect and it is so. I saw the first toys I made and I can tell you the stuffing showed a little. I crochet tight I thought but I can do it much better now.First picture is the buzzbee I wanted to make but I looked at the videos to look at him sideways, front and back. Amish ball

Isn't this cute and soft. I made this Amish ball from this pattern. It is easy to do give it a try. It is fun for kids and they are not going to hurt themselves with it. It is also a puzzle ball. You can mix and match any colors. So here is my picture of my Amish ball.

Miku the doll

I haven't posted anything for  awhile. I have been doing amigurumi but this doll took me awhile to finish it. This was a challenge to make as the pattern was not explained properly sometimes I found it hard to understand at times but because I have some knowledge of some dolls I could make it. I am happy with the result. There was photos of the hair but I actually learn more from a video. Anyway here is my miku doll
