I would like to open an etsy store one day. I have decided to make some toys so I will see if I can see them. I want to make some toys that doesn't take me many hours to finish, other wise it is not worth the hassle. I still find satisfaction with every toy I make and it is really hard for me to part from them but I have many now. It would be great to earn some money though through doing what I love. What I have done today is a sock monkey I altered it a little as always seems to be my trait. I love the mint colour of wool and with beige works well I think. I made longer legs and stuck them on differently too. I put safety eyes and also stuck glue at the back of them for security. Here is my finished product.

Sock monkey with the banana
I made this sock monkey from Amigurumi to go. Sharon is very generous to share her patterns for free. I made this monkey a banana and it is not that I don't like sharing patterns, I never get to finish them because if I unpick I will loose track of what I did. I also did less white on the hands and legs and added them in green. I sewed the banana to it's hand so it has moving arms. It could be more fun for little kids to play with.

Sock monkey from Amigurumi to go
Sock monkey from the free pattern from Amigurumi to go. I wanted to make this monkey for so long. I don't know why it took so long for me to make one. Sharon's monkeys are so cute and the patterns are easy to follow. It is not very big, that apple is medium size. It is good for a baby to handle but you need to put embroidery eyes so it is more safe. I am always searching for free patterns with challenges. I haven't got bored yet making amigurumi toys. I am a little busier these days and I can't make as much as I used to do. Anyway till next time stay safe and take care whoever reads this blog.

Makka Pakka
I made Makka Pakka for my grandson and future grand children. I didn't have any pattern for it. Trial and error. I hesitated to finish it as I found oblong head hard to do. I made one and it came a little too small. I'm happy with the finished toy. I find it very satisfying that it looks a bit like the toy I tried to imitate. Here is a picture of the toy I tried to make and my one.

Amigurumi monkey
I made this monkey from Amigurumi To Go tutorial.
I also made it a dress using no pattern, I just made it up as I went.
