Footless, barefoot sandals

I have been working on different things which I will show you as I will post them here. This time I will show you these beautiful footless,barefoot sandals whatever you want to call them. I am selling them on etsy my website is amiguruminanna. How these came about I don't even remember but I think searching for something new to do. They feel like you have nothing on your feet and looks great on. Such a nice look for summer. I used cotton and number 2 crochet hook. I watched videos at first so I will know roughly the size. Boys Hair Clips

Another new thing we have on Etsy now. Since my grandson has long hair, we just thought of boys with long hair. We came up with this design but we have more coming up. Ladies headband

Here is what my daughter asked me for a headband. She wanted a dark colour one and with no flower on it, so it is easy to slip it on. It is done in crochet but the stitch looks like knitting. Very easy to do and quick as well. I used acrylic yarn and my daughter loves it which is the main thing. The width is good enough for her but you can do it as wide as you like.

Mother Angelica

I found myself thinking about the loss of this nun her name is Mother Angelica. I found this nun through Fr Benedict Groeschel. I saw him the first time on my facebook page often during lent. One day I wanted to hear some good words from him and by chance saw Mother Angelica. I saw one of her video and I found her very funny and very knowledgeable. Mother Angelica reminded me of many good things I have learnt as a child and we might have forgotten them by now. Sadly I also found out that she passed away and that made me very sad now that I had discovered her but lucky for me there are many videos that she left behind. From what I gather she was an only child and her father left her and her mother. She suffered hunger. She also never dated. I love nuns as they did a lot of good with me as a child and I never saw anything wrong. I truly have love and respect for them and this nun, Mother Angelica is no less. I wish I knew her when she was alive but usually that is when I find good people. Like the American artist Bob Ross and also the munk I mentioned above. Crochet Beanie slouch

I always like to try new stuff. I get bored doing the same things, this way I keep myself interested in this craft. How the beanie came about is my older grandson tried his father's beanie and I wanted to make him one. I actually made him two because I didn't have his brother's head circumference and I made the other one big enough to fit him too. One is brown and the other one blue and brown. just had enough wool. I got the free pattern from pinterest.com. I had to increase more as my wool was 8 ply. I'm so happy, I am using a lot of yarn. I need to buy new colours. Who knows what I will be doing next I know my daughter wants me to make her something so you might come here and check to see what it is. Till next time

Colourful crochet blanket

I felt like I had lots of wool so I thought making a crochet blanket is a good idea. I had lots of colours that I thought I will not be able to use them on toys. I had already made another baby blanket with this pattern. I like this pattern as it is warm and looks nice too. It is very easy to make and there are lots of videos with this pattern. I always like to try new patterns and of course I have to like it too. Crochet blankets are fun to make as you don't have to concentrate all the time. I wanted to make this for a baby blanket but one of my daughters love the colours I chose and she wants it for herself. Here are the two blankets that I made and finished.

Amigurumi exciting stuff

So I said that I am not very creative but I prayed to come up with something special. I think I did manage to make something handmade and very special and adorable, I am happy anyway. It is a baby toy and my youngest grandson inspired me because he likes to hold on to my fingers.I tried to make them different in some ways. I also tried to make them in bright colours.
