Crochet wayuu bag

I made this for my youngest daughter earlier on. I thought she would love the colours and the pattern. I found a free pattern with a free video but I changed it a little. I gave her this bag as a Christmas present with more presents. It seems complicated but it is not really, there is not much sewing like when you do amigurumi toys and I need a break from doing the same thing all the time. I need challenges sometimes and when I see something that I like I need to try it to see if I can do it. it doesn't really take much time to make this bag. It is called wayuu bag you can find many graphs that you like on pinterest.com. Anyway here is my bag, sorry I took just one badly picture of it but you can see it. It is very nice to give out as a gift and useful too. The first one I made came too small so I learnt from it and each one I made I learn something new like how many holes I need to make or how big I like it to be.

Granny squares colourful blanket

It has been a while but blankets do take longer time to make. My second daughter came up to me and asked me if I could make her a colourful blanket and ofcourse I said yes. She was choosing all the colours that she wanted together, she helped a little too making the granny squares. I think she did a very good job in picking up the colours together. It took me less then two months to make I mostly worked at nights on it. She also wanted wider border and she wanted that floral finish too. I am glad I did something for her that she wished for. Mothers' are good at that pleasing their children.

Apron

My daughter asked me if I could make her an apron. She wanted specific material and she wanted to use it for the garden to collect her produce. She wanted a large pocket in the middle. So I looked on you tube and I saw one like this. I saw how it was made and I took notice of all the measurements of how she cut it out and sewed it. It was easy to follow I think I had quarter less then a meter in material. I had just enough it felt good to have bought just enough. I cut the patterns and did all the steps the lady did. It came almost perfect except for the front band. I could have unpicked it but hey it is just for gardening even though I try my best to do everything close to perfect. Sometimes I can't be bothered and let it go.
