Crochet socks

I came across these socks by an Italian lady I think she is Oana she has a you tube video of these socks. I was impressed and wanted to have a go at making them. No joining anywhere that is a win for me. I used 5 ply acrylic, I made one sock but in between I made an order that had to be shipped so it was a week maybe after I made the other one. I did it by memory and I did a shorter row. I just thought it would come in handy the way the heel is done for amigurumi. I don't think I will make socks again since they never came perfect lol. If I did it in the same day they would have turned out much better. I like the right side sock. When you put them side by side they look ok. Hope yours turn out ok if you give these a try. Handmade Crochet Flowers

I came across some crochet lily flowers. I am always curious of how they are made so I wanted to give these a try. Usually when I don't post anything it is because I am working on something. I found a video which was not in English I  followed this lady through. I wish she had a pattern to follow. I made the long leaves myself but for the front leaves I follow another lady. If you search on you tube you can find these ladies that I'm talking about just search crochet flowers. I added wire and florist tape and arrange them in a pot with white pebbles and florist foam. Calla lily is the easiest flower to make if you want to try. I am fascinated how many things they can do out of crochet. Here are my flowers all made of cotton yarn.

Colourful Doll

I made this doll out of cotton following a video. It was a basic doll from youtube. I ended up doing the head myself as I didn't want to make it separate. I did the beanie so I don't have to make hair. I like her shirt, I love the colours I used. I wanted to use up the cotton I had but I ended up buying more as my daughter ordered me to make her baby rattles that she would like to give away. It is a well explained video and you can easily follow the lady. My daughter did the eyes with felt I personally think she looks mean like a mean teacher lol.
