Amigurumi toys

I saw these lovely free patterns and I had to make them. The dog is not small but he is a cute dog. I like how it turned out. I made his overalls myself not from a patterns but the lady has overalls too. She has another type of dog and a cat. I simple loved this dog so I just made him for now. I might make them later. It is from amigurumi today If I'm not mistaken. I also made this teddy, he is tiny but the colour I've used is not as nice. They use different yarn to make this small teddy but I think it is not strong enough. I thought it was cute. I am very selective in what I make I have to like them. It is also a free pattern but I'm afraid this one is in different language. I don't put wires and safety eyes in my toys lately. I don't know what I touched to make it in italics. Small sleeping doll

As you all know I made MR and MRS Santa and I also made him a large bag. I wanted to  fill up the sack with small toys that is why I did this toy. I wanted to make one of these but I never got to it till the last two weeks. I got the free pattern from pinterest.com. I would have like to bag the body bag longer, it would have been in good proportion I think, never the less it is still cute. I did do this toy in cotton, 4ply I think I like doing cotton toys more then wool. You can see the bag behind the doll. The toys, I will show you,they all fit in the bag and maybe I should have done more.

Amigurumi mermaid

Amigurumi mermaid, how this came about is my youngest daughter's friend had a baby girl and she ordered me to make her a mermaid. I searched for a nice pattern similar to what she liked and I came up with this one. I  slightly made her a larger head. My daughter doesn't want me to make her a mouth. It didn't take too long to make except for the hair part. I embroidered the eyes since it is for a baby. I like it how it turned up.The tail looks great.What I would change if I had to make another one is, I would make the top part longer so the bra fits nicer. Didn't put a rattle in it too.

Little Batman

Since my son in law introduce batman to my grandson, I had to make him one. I found this free pattern from Pinterest .com. It is fairly easy for those who are used to read patterns. The hardest I found embroider the bat. I had to find a logo of batman and hand free draw it. I had to do it a few times as mine was a bit big. I used yellow, skin colour, grey and dark blue because it is for a child. Dark colours is hard to work with in my opinion. It measures 23 centimeters good size for a child to hold. Actually a child should be supervised because of the eye buttons. I could have embroidered the eyes but I liked the way it was made with similar buttons. Anyway for you out there who would like to give this little batman a go good luck. I made him a cape easy to make.

Red haired doll

The head of this doll is one of the spheres I had made, I can't wait to use them all. I had made two similar to this one before. I used the body from Amigurumi Bb dolls. She is an awesome lady. She shares many of her free patterns and she allows you to add or change to them as we please. I like her dress and shoes. I still need more practice about this type of hair. I like Amigurumi BB dolls better the head are much nicer. I have another idea of making hair. See the way I find things out is searching for the thing I want and I find something better. I know another method which takes a lot of time so I don't bother with it.

Adorable dog

I made this from Patchwork Moose. Kate E Hancock did a marvelous job creating this pattern. I bought this pattern for $4.75.  I found the pattern easy, well explained. I love this dog he is so adorable. Those eyes steal your heart. Any child with be happy with this toy. It is fun to make and great to gift it.
