Wayuu crochet bag

I am making all these bags to have variety in my shop. I love making them for now. I usually don' t like making the same thing for many times as I get bored making them. I find with crochet you can making so many fantastic stuff. I used to love sewing for as long as I remember but since I started to crochet again because I did few things in crochet before like blankets throw rugs that I can't let it go. I have been almost three years crocheting every single day and every time I have chance to. I made so many things that I didn't think I could do. It all started because I wanted to make a soft toy for my grandson. My love for sewing is gone I feel upset about that. Can you love two kinds of hobbies at once? I wonder. My artistic in me was spread on many painting, sewing, newspaper baskets, weaving crocheting, anything I saw I had to give it a go. Not anymore though crochet is the thing that I like to do now. I lost track about the bag I made this time I like the colours I chose for it. The pattern wasn' t that hard to do either. This is the right bag size not too big and not too small. Handy for mothers, teenagers anyone really. I found the pattern from pinterest love this site for inspirations and patterns. I know there is also bloglovin. Anyway you can see the bag I made.

Crochet blanket

I made this blanket because I sold one blanket on etsy. I needed another one to replace it. If I don't get to sell it one of my daughter's can use it then. I searched for a crochet stitch that I liked. I tried this stitch three times because I found it with too many holes. This is the best tension that I found good for it. The stitch is called larks foot but when one of my daughter saw it, she said it looks like you are pointing the rude finger. There is a wrong side and a right side but I like the reverse side best. I put a good reversible border on which of course was my first time too. I was about to finish it and it was late at night so I tried few times how to finish and I just couldn't so I went to bed. When I went to try to finish this border it worked nicely from the first go. It is amazing what a good sleep does to the brain. I am very happy how it turned up and i am sure it will be useful for someone out there, here are some pictures of it.

Blue Wayuu bag

I like the result of a Wayuu bag. I have made a few of these now. I like to make them for my shop on etsy. This time I chose blue and white for a bit of difference. The stitches inside the back looks like that because I don't want anything to show from the front. I have made another one with similar pattern but this one is different. I like the combinations of colours I used for this bag. I am pleased with the result and I make everything with so much love that sometime it is hard for me to part from them. I say to myself then, that I can always make another one. I am also pleased that some people will chose to buy them. Since I sold one of these I wanted it to replace it so here it is.

Amigurumi sheep

My daughter ordered me to make her two lamb, sheep to give them to her boys. I searched how to make the bubble stitch which I had and idea but wanted to know the technic how to put them in between each bubble instead of on top of each other. I watched some videos on you tube and I found a few that I liked. So I started with my toy. I wanted to use cotton and she kind of picked the colours too. I made up my own pattern as I go. I always start by writing but some where along the way I loose track of it. It could be because I could have unpicked a couple of rows. I loose the mark and then I will stop writing it because it might not match the correct stitches and rows. this toy I started by making the legs and joined the body to it. The head, ears and hands were separate. I wanted to avoid some sewing as much as I could to make it nice. I made three altogether and here you can have a look.
