I was inspired but another cocoon flower. I always seem to put my touch into these pieces that I make.I made more and different petals. I also made this for a bigger baby. I love how I made this hat I need to make another one because I like it. I have such a bad habit that I don't write anything down as how I made the petals. I always think I will know how to but no I will forget how I did it. In this process I tried to use a lot of yarn that I had which is good. I already bought more yarn to make more of these cocoons for my etsy shop. I think you agree it did came nice and big for a 8 lb baby. This is also good for photo shoot.

Crochet the hungry caterpillar cocoon
I have started this long time ago and I had the cocoon done but needed to make the hat. I stopped because the cocoon was small then what I expected. I guess you can find babies with tiny heads anyway. I feel good when I finish something that I have started and leave it for a reason or other. I also found this from a pattern but I may have increased more stitches because I might have seen that it is coming smaller in size. I think the hat came good but small. Overall you can tell it is from the book called The hungry caterpillar. It is useful for photo shoot.
Owl Baby Cocoons
I came across these handmade crochet owl baby cocoons which I never made before. I always wanted to try this crocodile stitch. I found a video on youtube which I think it was Spanish and I followed her. I love it so much that I am making the fourth one, every time I change something like more scales if you like to call them that. I made my own design on the hat. They look so nice when they are finished that my two married daughters wants to keep them all. I also made a flower cocoon inspired by a couple that I saw. These are ideal for photo shoots. Any combination of colours will look good on these. I tried 8 ply yarn and 5 ply I think the latter is the best. Here are the two alike with different colour yarn.
