Amigurumi elephant

This is a Spanish free pattern which I found on pinterest. I wanted to make an elephant as they say it is a good luck charm for one of my sisters. Superstitions  I know and I don't believe it. I looked for some small amigurumi  elephants and this one tickled my fancy. I had a quick look to see if I can understand the pattern and voila it is done. I had to add to the ears as I saw them small . it looked like mouse's earsand now more like human lol oh well it can never be perfect. I like his mouth and this pattern doesn't have much sewing which I liked. I think I  would fix something if I do it again. I added eye lashes which you can hardly see and a recycle ribbon haha from Easter eggs.

Some of the paintings I've done

Hi, I always liked painting.I find it fascinating how they can create a picture out of paints and brushes on a blank canvas, don't you? I am a person that I like to know how things are made. I'm interested in a lot of things. I am a person who knows a lot of things but master of none. I started painting pictures by painting by numbers. You used to find nicer pictures to buy not these days though.I went for some lessons here ant they don't teach you anything they will help you out on what you don't know. I tried two classes. I should have kept trying to find better classes but I wanted to go close to home. I gave up and tried on my own and these are a few I've done.
